PELATIHAN PENULISAN KARYA TULIS ILMIAH BAHASA ARAB

Abstract

This training on Academic Writing in the Arabic Language is conducted in response to the challenges faced by students in the Arabic Language Program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Nurul Jadid University, Paiton, Probolinggo. The main issue is the insufficient understanding and skills of students in writing academic papers in Arabic, which can hinder their academic development. The method applied in this training is Community-Based Research (CBR), where students actively engage in identifying problems, seeking solutions, and effectively applying research results. The intensive training covers the basic concepts of composing academic papers, the anatomy of academic papers in the Arabic language, and the proper use of language in the context of academic writing. Additionally, group mentoring and individual guidance are provided to ensure better understanding and application by students. The training results include an understanding of the basic concepts of composing academic papers, the development of writing skills according to academic writing standards, and the ability to write academic papers in Arabic with improved quality. Through the application of the CBR method and structured training, students can overcome the challenges faced in writing academic papers. The results of this training indicate an enhancement in students' understanding, skills, and motivation to develop their abilities in writing academic papers in the Arabic language. Thus, this training can be considered a positive step in enhancing the academic literacy of students in the Arabic Language Program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Nurul Jadid University.
