TRADISI PEMBACAAN SURAH YASIN PADA MALAM NISFU SYA’BAN DI PONDOK PESANTREN WALI SONGO ( STUDI LIVING HADIS )

Abstract

This study was motivated by an activity carried out by students at the Wali Songo Islamic boarding school during the month of Sha'ban, namely the recitation of Surah Yasin on the night of Nisfu Sha'ban. All forms of righteous deeds are highly recommended to be performed on that night, such as the sunnah tasbih prayer, recitation of Surah Yasin, reading the Qur'an, and so on. This refers to the hadith narrated by Al-Bahili in the book Kalyubi. This study aims to explore the process of implementing the tradition of reciting Surah Yasin on the night of Nisfu Sha'ban at the Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School in Situbondo, as well as the historical significance of this tradition. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation.
