TRADISI TASYABBUHAN DALAM PUASA ARAFAH: STUDI LIVING HADIS DI PONDOK PESANTREN WALI SONGO SITUBONDO
Abstract
Living hadith is a phenomenon of practice, tradition, ritual or behavior that lives in society based on the hadith of the Prophet. The research is a hadith practice that lives in the Wali Songo Situbondo Islamic Boarding School regarding the tradition of Tasyabbuhan Arafah Fasting. This practice departs from the understanding of the hadith regarding the recommendation to fast Arafat and multiply the practices in it. The research discusses the practice and history of the implementation of the Tasyabbuhan tradition during Arafah Fasting and explores how the students of the Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School interpret this tradition. This research is descriptive, using Emile Durkheim's Social Theory. This research is also framed in qualitative research. The results of this study are, the existence of learning methods about the virtues of Arafat Fasting and recommendations to practice hadith taught directly by caregivers, thus giving birth to individuals who continue to maintain their understanding of social reality on an ongoing basis. Social solidarity that strongly supports the implementation of this tradition perfectly. Religious theory where the implementation of the hadiths is based on the same belief of the perpetrators of the values that can be taken by them.
