Abstract

Child education in Islam is an important aspect in shaping individuals who are spiritually, morally, and intellectually balanced. This article outlines the definition of child education in Islam, identifies Qur'anic verses related to child education, interprets the meaning of these verses, analyses the use of the term child in the Qur'an, and concludes the concept of child education in Islam. The concept of child education in the Qur'an covers various aspects ranging from religious education, care and affection, obedience to Allah and parents, moral education, world knowledge and skills, independence and responsibility, to leader education, environment, gender, and social justice. Child education in Islam is not only about the transfer of knowledge, but also the formation of solid character and morality, as well as readiness to face challenges and responsibilities in their lives. The research objective of this article is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept of child education in Islam based on Qur'anic verses as well as highlighting the importance of religious, moral, and skill education in shaping quality individuals in society.
