HIBAH KHATMIL AL QUR’AN DENGAN INFAK UANG KEPADA PARA ARWAH DI MASJID ZAINUL HASAN DESA KOLPO KECAMATAN BATANG-BATANG KABUPATEN SUMENEP MADURA
Abstract
This study discusses the social phenomenon of living Qur'an, namely the tradition of Khatmil Al-Qur'an Grant with infak money to the spirits which was carried out at the Zainul Hasan mosque, Kolpo village, Batang-Batang district, Sumenep regency, Madura. This activity is carried out by all mosque teenagers on Thursday morning Kliwon to Friday Legi. This research focuses on the discussion of practices and how participation interprets the tradition of the Qur'an Khatmil Grant with money infak to the spirits at the Zainul Hasan mosque, Kolpo village, Batang-Batang district, Sumenep regency, Madura. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research in the process of collecting researcher data using three methods, namely observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study show that the tradition of the Qur'an Khatmil Grant with money infak to the spirits at the Zainul Hasan mosque, Kolpo village, Batang-Batang district, Sumenep Madura regency was carried out on Thursday Kliwon morning after the Fajr prayer which began with tawassul to the spirits and continued with the reading of the Qur'an in groups and rotated, then this activity was closed with a joint prayer after Friday prayers with all communities. The meaning that can be taken from this activity according to mosque builders, founders of traditions, and implementers is to revive religious syiar through reading the Qur'an, providing benefits to the spirits, as the welfare of the mosque, and as a form of filial piety to parents.
