KEINDAHAN SYUKUR DALAM KITAB RIYADUS SHALIHIN NO. INDEKS 27

Abstrak

In the course of life, every human being will inevitably experience ups and downs. At times, one may experience prosperity, while at other times, one may face adversity. To cope with these two situations, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to always be grateful during times of prosperity and to remain patient during times of adversity. In this study, the library research method was employed, using the book Riyadus Shalihin to examine the continuity of the chain of transmission (sanad), the quality of the narrators (rawi), and the method of hadith transmission in Riyadus Shalihin, specifically Index No. 27, whose chain of transmission is continuous. The results of this study indicate that the text of this hadith is not inconsistent or flawed. In other words, it does not contradict the Quran, and the hadith is logically sound, free from flaws, and contains no additions, omissions, or alterations. The concept of gratitude in the hadith of Riyadus Shalihin, Index No. 27, encompasses three aspects: First, gratitude for blessings. Second, the virtue of gratitude. Third, guarding the heart from envy. When a believer expresses gratitude for the blessings given by Allah, they not only guard their heart from envy towards others who may have more or better things than themselves. In analysing the data, the author used content analysis.
